BREAST FORM PRODUCTS

What are breast form products?

Ultra-lightweight silicone breast forms accumulate less than forty per cent of standard silicone breast forms of similar shape and size. The more firm, lightweight silicone in the back part helps maintain the size, shape and form of the breast when inside the pocket of the bra.

The comfortable temperature-regulating material controls fluctuating body temperature and reduces perspiration.

What are the different types of breast products and technology available?

  • Patented diamond layer technology: This new form of technology ensures comfort throughout years of wear. The product is built on years of extensive research and comprehensive feedback from women across the country.
  • Basic triangle light: A basic triangle light is made to accentuate and flatter almost all body types. The design is made with a matte front to enhance the woman's natural appearance.
  • Essential light breast forms: An essential light breast form offers supreme comfort and reliable performance, enhancing the natural looks of a woman. This prosthesis wraps around the breast area naturally, mimicking the appearance of authentic breast tissue.
  • Aquawave: Aquawave is a prosthetic breast made for swimming. Aquawave is made from water-resistant material, dries incredibly quickly and is thirty per cent lighter than most breast forms. This lightweight breast prosthesis is comprised of PU-film and silicone and is made to fit sizes 1 to 14. The material is made to allow water and air to flow freely through the prosthesis, which minimises the amount of suction when exiting the water
  • Contact light (self-adhesive): Contact light sticks directly to the body and remains in place with each movement, thereby reducing increased pressure on the shoulders and offering more freedom in terms of clothing choices.
  • Sublime Aris: Sublime Aris is made of complete silicone created with a honeycomb inside, ensuring optimal breathability. The perfectly tapered edges enable breast forms to fit directly against the skin, thereby creating an intimate fit. The design offers a hand-engraved areola and nipple region and is lightweight and cool to the touch. The Sublime Aris offers a natural skin-like feel, including a COOLMAX breast cover.

ABOUT US CONTACT US
1What is a prosthetic breast?
A prosthetic breast is a synthetically made breast designed to cover the chest area affected by breast cancer. You’ll require a prosthetic after the surgical removal of affected breast tissue. Breast prostheses provide balance to the body and help resolve musculoskeletal-related issues such as shoulder drop (scoliosis) or bending forward of the upper back (Kyphosis).
2Does a prosthetic breast last long?
Silicone breast prostheses are expected to last two years at least. Most breast forms have a two-year warranty against delamination.
3Can you still sleep with a breast prosthesis?
It is not advised to sleep with a breast prosthesis as it may damage if too much weight is placed on it. We would recommend a fibre-filled prosthesis for this purpose.
4Can you still wear a breast prosthesis with a standard bra?
Breast prostheses can be worn together with standard bras. However, keeping them in place may still be an issue. Mastectomy bras have also been specially designed not to damage the prosthesis. Wearing it in a normal bra may result in damage to the polyurethane outer sheathing that is irreparable once torn. If you want to use a prosthesis with a normal bra, we would recommend a product such as the Sublime Aris, made of pure silicone that is more durable and robust in comparison with the previous generation breast forms.
